“Our mission is to promote Lionism by ensuring that it is accessible to everyone by removing barriers for those who face visible and non-visible challenges and by creating a culture of inclusion and acceptance.”

One of the main purposes of the Accessibility Awareness Committee is to make sure that Multiple District "A" is fully accessible by the standards of the AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) which is a statue enacted in 2005 by the government of Ontario.  The purpose is to improve accessibility for Ontarians with a physical and medical disability to all public establishments by 2025.
