Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle Old/Non used Personal Computers

• I would like to ask the Leos club to facilitate in collecting old/non used computers, which otherwise could have ended up in a landfill.

• Upon obtaining the needed approvals, the Leos club would inform the public via their website or newsletter.

• Donated old/non used computers will be collected free of charge by the Federation of Filipino Canadians of Brampton, Contact: Joyce Rodriguez, 905-277-3088, 905-796-0573.

• The donated computers will be sent to the schools in the Philippines who do not have access to them. In a way this project is similar to the Lions eye glasses recycling project, because they both help people in developing countries.

• This project has already been a success in my school and I’m sure it will also be a success here.

• The above objective would meet two purposes, one being good environmental stewards and the other being good Leos/Lions in sharing.
