Twentieth Multiple District "A" Convention
The term ending 1939-1940 ended with 11 new Clubs and 563 new members. Multiple District "A" then consisted of 103 clubs and 4363 members.

Twenty First Multiple District "A" Convention
There was a gain of 263 members during the past term.
Once more, because of the increase in the number of clubs, Multiple District "A" were authorized to add another sub-district which was identified as District A5.

Twenty Second Multiple District "A" Convention
The Multiple District "A" Convention was held in conjunction with the International Convention that was held in
Many Lion dignitaries visited with the Canadian Lions. Included were:

Chairman of the Board of Governors. Lion William K. Wylie, reported that International had come up with a most general offer in that they would pay a full time stenographer, equip and maintain an office to allow Special Representative Bruce Malcolm to act as Secretary to the Multiple District and take charge of the Canadian Office.
The only expenses of Multiple District "A" would be the monthly rent and other incidental disbursements. Chairman Wylie invited the Lions to visit the new office.

Twenty Fifth Multiple District "A" Convention
The 25th anniversary of Lions in
Three Lions Clubs were celebrating that anniversary, namely,
Special Guests at this Convention were International President Lion Skeen and Secretary General Melvin Jones.
At this Convention a daylong seminar was held for the Deputy District Governors who were responsible to after the Zones.
The magazine "LION NEWS" created the previous year received approval to become a monthly publication.
The year 1944-1945 ended with 136 clubs and 6835 members.

Twenty Sixth Multiple District "A" Convention
Special International Extension representative Bruce Malcolm succeeded in organizing 17 new clubs during the year 1946-1947. Multiple District "A" then had total of 152 clubs and 8187 members.
The International President Lion Ramiro Collazo was the Convention Guest of Honour. He took the time to visit each of the five districts.

June 29-July 2, 1947
During the term 1946-1947 18 new clubs were organized bringing in 1229 new members.
This convention in
International President Lion Chilford Pierce and Secretary General Melvin Jones were in attendance.

International Third Vice President, Lion Walter C. Fisher was elected Second Vice President Lions International.
Twenty Eighth Multiple District "A" Convention
During the term 14 new clubs were organized adding 653 members.
The Convention was held at the McIntyre Arena with an attendance of 931 delegates, the largest number to date.

Twenty Ninth Multiple District "A" Convention
Each of the five Districts held their own convention at difference dates in the month of May, 1949.

The delegates decided that only one convention would be held in Multiple District "A" in future years.
There were 14 new clubs organized during the term 1948-1949.
Because of the ever-increasing number of Clubs, International authorized the creation of an additional sub-district to be identified as A6.
