Ernest E. Linger, who had served the balance of the previous term as Governor after Lion Livingstone resigned, was elected Governor for 1922-1923.
The guest of honour was International President Ed S. Vaught of
Lion Lt. Col. C.M.R. Graham, a former Mayor of London, Ontario, was elected Governor for 1923-1924.
At the close of the 1922-1923 term there were 14 clubs and 753 members.
Fourth District "A" Convention
Lion Fred Avery of St. Catherines was elected Governor for the term 1924-1925.
Lion Harry A. Newman from District "A" was elected International President for 1924-1925. The delegates at the Convention decided to hold the following Convention in Cedar Point, Ohio, the site of the International Convention in order to Honour Lion Newman at the end of his term of office as International President.
Fifth District "A" Convention
The delegates at the Convention decided to divide District "A" into two parts, namely "A" and "B". The clubs located east of a line running from north to south west of the City of Hamilton, Ontario, formed part "B".
Lion Dr. H. Irvine Wiley of Windsor was elected Governor of part "B".
Note: Helen Keller was the special guest at this International Convention.
The two parts of District "A" (A and B) held a joint Convention.
It was decided to reunite the two parts of District "A" and this decision was very amicably approved.
